IntelliLux LED pixel light

IntelliLux LED® Matrix Lights are not your regular headlights. This adaptive technological feature radically improves visibility, consisting of 168 LED lights that are able to shut off individually. This means that the maximum amount of the road remains illuminated with the clarity of powerful high beams, while small parts are darkened to avoid dazzling other drivers.

Night Vision

Typically, only your headlights help you to see when driving in darkness. Until now, that is with our latest night-time driving innovation, Night Vision. An advanced infrared camera significantly improves visibility of anything more than 300m ahead, beyond the normal reach of headlights, and will detect pedestrians or animals in the dark and display video directly to the digital cluster. Should anything get too close then the Automatic Emergency Braking system also triggers. So, when you‘re talking safer night-time driving, the new Grandland is definitely not your typical SUV.

Opel Grandland's AEB system acoustically warns the driver of dangerous situations ahead. If another car or a pedestrian gets too close, it decelerates or brings the vehicle to a standstill.

Advanced Park Assist

The Opel Grandland will detect a parking slot for you and then steer you into the space. All you have to do is to accelerate and apply the brakes. Now that‘s a smart move.

Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning

Enjoy a greater level of safety and awareness while driving. Lane Keep Assist (LKA) actively responds to dangerous driving by gently steering the vehicle back into the markings. Lane Departure Warning (LDP) warns you of having unintentionally left the marked lane.

Highway Integration Assist

Highway Integration Assist is an innovative synergy of Grandland's systems, combining Advanced Cruise Control, Stop-and-Go functionality and Lane Keep Assist. It works as a semi-automatic system that helps you integrate into a highway, follow a particular lane, or follow a vehicle ahead. Engaged at the touch of a button, you can retake control from the system any time simply by moving the steering wheel.

IntelliGrip puts the strength delivered by Opel Grandland’s dynamic powertrain exactly where it needs to be for increased grip in difficult conditions and zero wheel-spin. This smart system enables optimum traction and stability on different kinds of surface, automatically adapting the torque distribution to the wheels and altering Electronic Stability Program settings. Drivers can pre-set IntelliGrip for mud, snow or sand using a simple rotary dial on the centre console - or leave it in Normal mode to let IntelliGrip monitor the situation as you enjoy safer, more relaxing town and highway driving.
